Meet the waves together

Arrive at the beach it’s absolutely Baltic

Looking at the waves my stomach sinks like a brick

How on earth am I going to do that

I’ll start by putting on my woolly hat

Clothes off swimsuit on

Your friend is waiting she says c’mon

Tentatively walk with all the girls

Ready to do some cold water twirls

We all meet the waves together

My heart has gone from brick to feather

I feel those arms around my waist

All my fear has been erased.

May as well go for it my shoulders are under

No longer feel like i could chunder

Frolicking in the waves i laugh so much

Nothing like the waves salty touch

I am doing it, I feel the ocean vibe

These are my friends I’ve found my tribe

New recruit but i feel the love

Hand in hand glove in glove

Dried off it’s time to hit the net

I’ve a load of new swim stuff to get!!!
